Didn't get a chance to submit a proposal? You can still share your ideas in a lightning talk! These are short, 5-minute talks, with or without slides, on almost any topic you like. Lightning talk sign-ups open during the conference, so if inspiration strikes in Athens, you can still have your moment.

What we're looking for

We welcome talks that explore the full spectrum of Django, Python and the universe around them. Some ideas to inspire (but not limit) you:


Or… whatever you think belongs on the DjangoCon stage. Technical or non-technical, beginner or advanced, just flood us with ideas.

Guidelines

Here are a few general guidelines to keep in mind:


If your company supported your work on the talk, feel free to acknowledge that support during your session. With that being said, the content should not be influenced directly by commercial interests.

Selection process

Our review team is made up of Django community members with diverse experience and backgrounds.
They'll review each submission carefully to create a program that balances technical depth and creativity.

Once the review period closes, we'll contact selected speakers and publish the final schedule.
