We want to thank everyone who submitted a talk and we hope to see you on stage in Athens.

Didn't get a chance to submit a proposal? You can still share your ideas in a lightning talk! These are short, 5-minute talks, with or without slides, on almost any topic you like. Lightning talk sign-ups open during the conference, so if inspiration strikes in Athens, you can still have your moment on stage.

Due to popular demand, we've decided to grant a one-week extension to the CFP process, so that you have more time to craft that talk proposal you've been thinking about.

We are excited to announce that DjangoCon Europe 2026 is officially opening its Call for Proposals!

From April 15–19, 2026, DjangoCon Europe will bring together hundreds of Django and Python developers, designers, founders and students in the beautiful city of Athens, Greece. As always, the conference is organized by dedicated volunteers and Django enthusiasts, which means this is the perfect home for your ideas. 

We can't wait to see all the insights and stories you've come up with!

We welcome talks covering the full spectrum of Django, Python and the ecosystem around them. Topics may include (but are not limited to):
